A Busy March for Caleb Gafrarar with Races in WSK, ROK and SKUSA

It has already been a busy year for junior rookie karter Caleb Gafrarar, but the BirelART North America and Lennox Racing Team competitor will continue strong with back-to-back-to-back weekends. Competing on two different continents, Gafrarar will see action this weekend in the WSK Super Master Series event at LaConca before returning to the United States to close out the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour and immediately start the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour.

Already in Europe for twelve days and taking part in the first WSK event of the season at the Adria International Racing Circuit two weekends ago, Gafrarar tested with his Lennox Racing Team and Charles Leclerc kart this past weekend at LaConca. Now settled in Europe and with a test under his belt, Caleb G is ready to attack this weekend.

“It has been a busy year so far, but I am loving it,” explained Caleb Gafrarar, the 2020 ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour Champion. “I am a rookie in Junior and the OKJ classes so every lap and every position I am put in is a new experience. I feel much more comfortable heading into the race this weekend and will use the experience I gain in my return back to the United States.”

With the WSK Super Master Series event set to take place March 11-14, Gafrarar will compete in the OKJ class that will feature nearly 100 Junior drivers. Return to Florida at the conclusion of the weekend, Gafrarar will pilot a BirelART under the PSL Karting and BirelART North America program at the final round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour at Ocala Gran Prix over the March 18-21 weekend. Not done there, Caleb will travel with his team a few hours northwest for the opening round of the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour the next weekend where he will compete in X30 Junior.

“Caleb wants to race and wants to win,” added his father Chuck, a former national level karter himself. “He lives and breathes motorsports, and we are thankful that he has these opportunities. The first year in a new class is always difficult but he is improving each and every weekend.”

With the first quarter of the 2021 racing season coming to a close in three weeks’ time, it only gets busier for Gafrarar. With plans to compete at the remaining SKUSA Pro Tour events, ROK Cup USA ROK Fest races, and several WSK and CIK events in Europe, the American is focused to find his way to the top.
