Caleb Gafrarar is Back with Trinity Karting Group for SKUSA Pro Tour Opener in Orlando

Set for multiple programs this season, 2022 SKUSA X30 Junior National Champion Caleb Gafrarar will throw his hat into the mix in X30 Senior as the 2023 Pro Tour kicks off this weekend at the Orlando Kart Center. Rejoining Trinity Karting Group (TKG) and behind the wheel of a potent Kart Republic, Gafrarar is hoping that the knowledge and experience gained at the same facility a few weeks ago will help him find the way to the top step of the podium.

“I don’t want to say that the first weekend with Trinity and Kart Republic was what I wanted, but behind the scenes it was,” explained Gafrarar. “I was out of a kart for a while, a new chassis brand with different handling characteristics, a new engine builder, a new mechanic, and a new team were a lot to learn. We did all of this over a national race weekend and the speed was there, I just had an issue in qualifying that put us behind and in a position that we should not have been in.”

With one race weekend under his belt, Gafrarar now enters the opening round of the SKUSA Pro Tour knowing what to expect, as well as with a new focus and new energy.

Gafrarar continued, “I am thankful for the opportunity that TKG and Kart Republic have provided me. I am confident that if we can improve our qualifying efforts, we can race, and beat, the best of them and that is the goal this weekend.”

Outside the seat, Gafrarar and the team around him have been hard at work solidifying and establishing partnerships for what is yet to come in 2023.

“I would officially like to welcome Circle K back to the Caleb G Racing program,” added Gafrarar. “We have big plans this season, and I can’t wait to have them ride, and win, with me.”

Gafrarar and his Trinity Karting Group program will hit the track Thursday for unofficial practice before the official race weekend takes the green flag Friday and the first two race days of the season commence Saturday and Sunday.

Caleb Gafrarar would like to thank Trinity Karting Group, Kart Republic NA, LAD Specialties, Circle K, Bell Helmets, Molecule, Minus 273, ULV, From the Ashes, and CPI Security for the continued support as we continue the 2023 racing season.
