After a few weeks of being held hostage from the karting world, Charlotte, North Carolina resident Caleb Gafrarar is set to return to the seat. Competing in back-to-back weekends in Europe and the United States, Caleb will see action with both the Lennox Racing Team and PSL Karting aboard the potent BirelART machinery at the WSK Super Master Series (WSK) and the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS)
“I am looking to get back to racing as even a week off feels like a lifetime,” explained Gafrarar. “As many of you know, I had to quarantine while in Italy after the last race due to Covid exposure and was forced to miss the final round of the Florida Winter Tour and the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour opener, but I am back and ready to go.”
Again, jet setting his way around the globe, Gafrarar will return to Italy and the WSK Super Master Series. Taking place at the famed South Garda Karting facility in Lonato, Gafrarar will join the Lennox Racing Team and pilot a BirelART produced Charles Leclerc Kart. Competing in the OKJ category, Gafrarar will race against 78 other junior drivers in his quest for the top step of the podium.
Immediately following the WSK event, Gafrarar will fly back to the United States and straight to the ultra-fast New Castle Motorsports Park facility in Spiceland, Indiana. Rejoining the PSL Karting and BirelART North America program, Gafrarar will enter the X30 Pro Junior class.
Gafrarar continued, “It is a busy two weeks, but I am happy, excited, and anxious to get back racing. The track and the racing community are my family, and I am ready to go and continue my development. I learned so much in the first three months of the year and can’t wait to continue that growth and progress.
