Fresh Off His First Junior Victory, Caleb Gafrarar Has His Sights Set on Utah

Fresh off his first national junior level karting victory in the United States, North Carolina resident and BirelART North America driver Caleb Gafrarar is headed west to the Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC). Ready to take on the X30 Junior field at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour, Gafrarar will rejoin PSL Karting and BirelART North America in his quest for race wins and podium results.

“I am looking forward to getting on track,” explained Caleb G. “There is some newfound confidence after my first junior win two weeks ago, so I definitely want to try and keep that going. I have a good group of partners behind me, a strong team, the BirelART family and more so I know we can continue to win.”

Traveling from Charlotte, North Carolina to Salt Lake City, Utah may seem like a long flight for many, but Gafrarar has been globe-trotting throughout his karting career, and a lot more than normal for the first five months of 2021.

Gafrarar added, “We had big plans for 2020 to compete a lot in Europe and North America but that was pushed back to this season. I feel it is a big help as the racing is tough overseas, but it helps elevate my learning curve and I know I am gaining valuable experience. I can see that when I race over in the USA as I am now more focused, prepared and committed in my on-track decisions. I think that will again help me this weekend but only time will tell.”

Set to hit the track for practice on Thursday and Friday, the SKUSA SpringNationals will officially get underway on Saturday with round three of the Pro Tour. A weekend that features two complete race days means two chances for victory and that is exactly what Caleb Gafrarar will be going for.

Caleb Gafrarar would like to thank PSL Karting, BirelART North America, BirelART, BN Engines, Bell Helmets, Minus 273, CPI Security, and the Lennox Racing Team for the continued support throughout the 2021 racing season.
